The measures relating to the electronic cigarette contained in the decree Milleproroghe
The measures relating to the electronic cigarette contained in the decree Milleproroghe , are sharply criticized by Anafe -Confindustria .
The association has announced that among the measures taken included the prohibition of svapare in public places , a ban on advertising , the subjugation of the product to the Monopolies and taxation of 58.5% .
Massimiliano Mancini, President of Anafe -Confindustria , said: " We are facing the third change of rules in 6 months. The latter is nothing but the plaque by the Government on the field of electronic cigarette kit , the face of the homogeneity of Law Decrees of the much talked about these days, and without any consideration of the competence of the Ministry of Health that a few days ago had cleared their Government to start the process of the bill Lorenzin that regulates advertising and prohibitions . "
The role of the tobacco lobby
The measure " clearly intended by the tobacco lobby and some of its representatives , will only maintain the status quo of the market and promote the use of traditional cigarette , with consequences well known to everyone by now : tobacco is the leading cause of death preventable in our

Country and are attributable to tobacco smoke from 70 thousand to 83 thousand deaths per year. It 'clear that the government is not interested in health of citizens, as well as the Ministry of Economy absolutely not interested in tax revenues , given that the only result of these measures will be the transfer abroad of dozens of companies and close four shops, with serious consequences in terms of employment and a hole in state coffers. Of this we have spoken several times and we have amply demonstrated in all locations, but on these issues , the Government never intended to even open a consultation which, if implemented, would put the incorrect assumptions in light of its actions that will instead the only consequence of damage to the state, the economy and public health.
