The Dutch Ministry of Health launch a thorough investigation of e-cigarette harmful effects.
The electronic cigarette , also known as e- cigarette has been marketed as a healthier alternative to traditional smoking and an effective way to scale down its smoking.
But more and more countries are showing skepticism of e- cigarette effects. Among other Norway and Brazil have already banned it, and now report the Netherlands in the chorus of concerned nations.
Thursday directed the Dutch Deputy Health Minister Martin van Rijn in a letter to the Dutch parliament a critique of the great uncertainty that still exists about e-cigarettes and announced several studies of the effects . It writes Reuters .

There is insufficient scientific evidence to present to say whether the level of toxins in the air inhaled is harmful to other people, wrote Martin van Rijn in his letter .
There is not yet a bill on its way, but Holland has already advised against the use of e- cigarettes around pregnant women and children , and after several trials , a law being on the road .

50,000 Danes use the
An e- cigarette is an electronic cigarette , which in short consists of a battery-powered metal tubes that convert nicotine into vapor .
It was introduced in the Danish market in 2008 and a survey in the spring of 2013 showed that 150,000 Danes were using e- cigarettes, of which 50,000 daily.
In Denmark there is not yet the same resistance to the e-cigarette as in the Netherlands , but the Cancer Society has warned against it.
