Electronic Cigarette: Who are the vapoteurs?


No less than 23 million Europeans - including 1.5 million French - have already tested the electronic cigarette, according to the Eurobarometer . Yet this social phenomenon is still poorly understood. This is the observation that stands the National Institute for Prevention and Health Education ( INPES) .

To fill this gap , so it has launched the first major national study on this issue : 15 000 people aged 15 to 75 will be interviewed. Last November , a study in the Czech Republic , published in the medical journal Chest still gave guidance on the profile of the people who have temporarily or permanently abandoned tobacco.

Regular vapoteurs have 34 years
The study was conducted in the Czech Republic, where electronic cigarettes are available in tobacco shops , specialty stores and online.
